I guess is isn't simple to distinquish between Type I, I1/2 & II diabetes as previously thought. So this Type I woman using Byetta must still be producing some beta cells. The same situation wouldn't apply to those of us with Juvenile Diabetes or childhood diabetes who are now over the hill? Confused... Comments please.

Most people with type 1 have “some” Beta cells. If not, they all have “chaff” on the supporting tissue that can grow beta cells anew. Look up the Edmonton’s article in Science 3 years ago.
