Dr. Joe, I heard yesterday the Amylin had announced that the FDA had delayed the rollout of LAR and no date was possible nor probable. Have you heard something different. This caused the stock to crash and creates great difficult for those of us who were looking forward to the LAR. The company may have to repeat the clinical trials. Could you ask if the company would allow some of us to be in on those trials? John
What time on 11/13 is the class?
I just read on-line that sulfonylurea drugs burn out the beta cells and the claim is made that Byetta does this in a different manner. Is there any truth to this?
Also, how do you determine whether Byetta is working for a patient or not if A1C levels remain high?
If only 1/3 of your patients are receiving benefits for the current version of Byetta, do you know whether the once-weekly version will benefit more of your patient population?
